I have worked for 30 years providing psychotherapy in the Berkeley/Oakland area in private practice and mental health agencies. I was the Clinical Program Manager at Family Paths in Oakland and also served as the Director of the Child Trauma Training Institute; a collaboration between Jewish Family and Children's Services San Francisco and UCSF Child Trauma Research Program.
I am a graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare and The Psychotherapy Institute.
I bring both attachment and cultural lenses to my work with individuals, couples, and parent consultation. These lenses help me to understand clients in a deeper and fuller way. Due to my expertise in trauma issues, I believe that people can work through their traumatic experiences and have fulfilling lives.
